War Horse Workshop - Creating Puppets for Plays Workshop

Specifically designed for children aged 10 – 16

This practical workshop provides hands-on experience to explore the craft involved in designing and making a puppet for use in the theatre.

Based on the techniques employed by Handspring Puppet Company, the genius behind the horse puppets in the production, participants will have the chance to create a puppet of their own using materials adapted from the original concept. The workshop will also include a performance of a specially commissioned piece of theatre that employs puppetry as a means of bringing characters to life.
